HELENA FROESE ESAU Helena Esau of Steinbach passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Bethesda Place at the age of 96 years. Mom leaves to cherish her memory her children: Bill (Louise), Abbotsford, BC; Henry (Betty), Abbotsford, BC; Ben (Rose), Steinbach, MB; Ed (Myrtle), Mitchell, MB; Walter (MaryJane), Abbotsford, BC; Ron (Judy), Abbotsford, BC; Susie Sabourin, Winnipeg, MB; Janice (Wally) Sorokowski, Winnipeg, MB; 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Our Mom was predeceased by her husband, Henry in August, 1983, by one son in infancy, by two sons-in-law, Steve Kennedy and Roger Sabourin, her parents Peter and Maria Froese, seven brothers and six sisters. Last respects may be paid at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Christian Fellowship Church, 417 Hanover, Steinbach with Pastor Wes Moreland officiating. Interment at Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, contributions may be made to CSSM Ministries, 200-189 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1L7 available at the church.
